SPHRE

The Society for the Promotion of Human Rights in Employment (SPHRE) was initiated in the Fall of 1997. SPHRE grew from a broad consensus underwritten by a large number of organizations including the UN, the ILO, the OECD, the WTO, the International Confederation of Free Trade Unions and the International Organization of Employers. .

SPHRE´s purpose is to promote awareness, understanding and respect for fundamental employment human rights which include (but are not limited to) the following:

• Freedom of Association

• Right to Organize and Bargain Collectively

• Prohibition of Forced Labor

• Elimination of Exploitative Froms of Child Labor

• Non-discrimination in Employment or Occupation
